9. Lattice Work
With everything in place and snapped together, the lattice work was then added to the outside of the hood cover.
10. Fine Detail
To cover up the little imperfections and gaps, the DIYer recommends using wood glue, caulk and things of that nature.
The whole thing was then painted, with the DIYer choosing to use a semi-gloss white that would be easy to clean.
12. The Other Stuff
Funnily enough, with the range hood cover complete, the next project on this DIYer’s list is to raise the range to match the height of the countertops!
