This winter has been horrible. Can we all agree on that? Mother Nature has a bee in her bonnet or something, but she is just not happy with us humans. There have been record cold temperatures and a massive polar vortex. None of us believed the groundhog on February 2nd when he declared spring would come early, but we are all hopeful.
Spring, where are you?
Maybe if we decorate for spring, it will come sooner? Here are some spring wall decorations to perk up your home and help you pretend that winter is already over.
I don’t know about you, but when I think of spring, I think of flowers blooming, birds singing, and cherry blossoms. Cherry blossoms, with their gorgeous happy pink colors, just seem to let you know that everything is ready to bloom. There is a reason why in Japan and Washington DC the cherry blossoms are such a big deal. This print lets you pretend that these gorgeous blooming trees are just outside your window.
Spring is when all the happy, bright colors come back into nature. This art has over 40 different flower prints, all of which make you feel like blooming flowers are alive in your home. Mix and match them to create the perfect springtime energy.
If you prefer to incorporate spring into your house in a more subtle way, these flowers are gorgeous. The petals are orange and red while the leaves and vine are between black and gray. This would go with many styles of décor without necessarily screaming “Happy Spring!”. If you do want something more bold, the other options from the manufacturer include cute little ladybugs that will also get you in a spring mood.
For those of you who like hopeful, happy messages in your art, this four-piece set has beautiful messages paired with flowers. The four different pieces include messages to love, hope, imagine, and believe. The set comes in different sizes and colors, but always with a lovely floral theme.
These adorable little butterflies would be a welcome addition to any home. They are beautifully painted iron, and thus not as bright as some other spring decorations. Honestly, I kind of prefer this as I feel like they are more likely to fit in with some of my other décor, which tends to have more neutral undertones. There can be such a thing as too many bright colors in your house. These little beauties will add a pop of color, while not overwhelming you as you wait for spring to catch up.
Speaking of butterflies, if you love these little creatures or if you have a kid that does, these 3D decorative decals come in five different colors to match your décor. They will let your spring time feels come to life, or keep them up year round because they are cute.
I am completely in love with these little prints. They are gorgeously done with all the little details. However, they are also not too “busy”. Each one includes a bird, a tree branch, a butterfly, and some flowers to really get you in that happy spring mood. You can keep all four together or spread them throughout your house. They come in two sizes – 12 x 12 inches or 16 x 16 inches.
Decorations don’t have to flat out say “Happy Spring!” to remind you of spring time. Sometimes, all you need are happy, bright colors to pretend that winter has already come and finally gone.
These paintings epitomize the transition from winter to summer that is spring. This abstract art uses gray, white, and a bright yellow, giving you a feeling of brightening dull moods with long awaited sunshine. It’s no coincidence that another option on the same link has paintings of bright pretty yellow and white flowers resting on Zen stones.
9. Moco Art 4 Panels Canvas Wall Art Spring Summer Autumn Winter Four Seasons Landscape Color Tree Painting
This four-piece set is gorgeous and reminds you of all the different seasons, as seen looking up in a beautiful forest. It’s not necessarily “spring” decorations, but I love that this reminds you of the different seasons and how one transitions into the next. Each season is beautiful in its own ways with its own colors.
If we can’t have spring outside, at least we can have it inside, right? I know that I could use a little cheer to pretend it wasn’t so cold out.
Any one of the items listed above will help you transition to springtime moods, and hopefully Mother Nature will follow. I personally most like the Natural art – Bird and flower Painting 4 pcs. It is absolutely gorgeous and just my style. I also have a soft spot for the SUMGAR Abstract Wall Art Yellow and Grey Paintings on Canvas Wall Decor because it so subtly changes my mood from winter to spring.
The first day of spring is March 20th this year. Hopefully our home décor and Mother Nature can both start spring early!
